Discover our project at Paradores
At Parador Málaga Golf and Parador de Nerja, MuMa has carried out work to integrate biodiversity into tourism spaces.
At Málaga Golf, the work includes dune protection and revegetation, pollinator gardens, wildlife shelters and interpretation resources. At Nerja, six bat shelters were installed, identified and georeferenced for monitoring.
Each intervention responds to its setting and provides conservation infrastructure that can be maintained and monitored over time.
Project activities
- We design interventions that respect the architecture and historical surroundings of the Paradores, promoting a harmonious coexistence between built heritage and the natural environment.
- We plant native species and create ecological corridors that encourage the presence of local wildlife, such as birds and bats, which are essential for ecosystem balance.
- We develop educational programs for guests and visitors, promoting environmental awareness and respect for nature.
- Maintenance and monitoring: the work requires inspections to assess its development and adjust site management.
