Our approach combines field experience in bioacoustics and bat shelters with training in organic farming and climate change. We consider the crop, management practices, vegetation and thermal conditions of each location to define measures tailored to your farm.
1. Initial assessment. We review the crop, surroundings, existing roosts and management to identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Tailored measures. We plan shelter locations and installation and, where appropriate, improvements to vegetation and resources for beneficial wildlife.
3. Monitoring. We study activity through bioacoustics and review shelter occupancy and condition within the contracted scope.
4. Recommendations. We document findings and recommend maintenance and management adjustments. To assess effects on a specific pest, we agree indicators and monitoring with those responsible for the crop.

Acoustic recordings show bat activity; shelter inspections provide information on occupancy. Assessing changes in pests requires crop-specific data and comparable monitoring.

Installation requires checks of fixings and shelter condition, together with occupancy monitoring when commissioned. We define the frequency and access arrangements in the proposal for each farm.
The presence of bats and their consumption of insects support their value as beneficial wildlife. Shelter occupancy or acoustic activity alone do not demonstrate pest reduction. We agree crop indicators and specific monitoring to evaluate this; we do not promise to eliminate pests or automatically replace treatments.
