A resource for interpreting biodiversity
We create exhibition models that reveal shapes, proportions and details that are difficult to observe in the field, without displaying live animals.
Three-dimensional modelling and hand finishing support science communication: showing external anatomy, comparing sizes and illustrating explanations of bat biology and conservation.
The models can be incorporated into display cases, educational displays and museum exhibitions.
Production and presentation
An acrylic display case can be specified in the quotation to suit the exhibition and the requirements of the space.
Agreed scale
We define each model’s size to suit its intended use and presentation.
Hand-finished
Resin printing and hand painting, with presentation agreed for each order.
Education and interpretation
Models for museums, visitor centres and environmental education.
Use at the Cueva de los Murciélagos Museum in Zuheros
For this project, we supplied a 3D bat model in a protective display case, alongside interpretive resources using MUMA VR. It demonstrates how physical objects and immersive experiences can be combined to communicate natural heritage.
Models we can create to order
The active collection includes eight models: Plecotus austriacus, Nyctalus lasiopterus, Myotis capaccinii, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Tadarida teniotis, Pipistrellus sp., Miniopterus sp. and Barbastella sp.
The last three models are documented at genus level. Scale, print preparation, finish and lead time are confirmed for each order. For other species, ask us about the feasibility of developing a bespoke model.
Tell us which model your project needs
We produce models to order, with a tailored quotation. Tell us the intended use, the species or model you are interested in, the number of pieces and whether you need a display case. We will confirm feasibility, scope and lead time before production begins.
